For content preparation, software of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) genre will be used in the training programme. This will ensure that the participants don’t have to make huge capital investments on software or have to depend on pirated software to pursue what they have learned in the summer camp.
This will include GIMP & Picasa for photo editing, SCRATCH for simple animations, Scribus & GIMP for creating print content and Audacity for creating audio content. For video editing, Windows Movie Maker will be used.
The participants will also be oriented to media tools like web pages/ websites, and social media - blogs, micro blogs and the like.
